Trails
If trail riding or walking is your favorite activity, you're in luck at
Clover Cliff Ranch. There are three well worn trails leading from ranch headquarters into
the beautiful Flint Hills.
The Hiking Trail leads from ranch
headquarters to a running spring (#6 on trail map) where Osage Indians camped while
visiting Clover Cliff Ranch in the late 1800's. Several Indians died of Typhoid Fever and
are buried near this spring site. The hiking trail
will require approximately 2 hours to complete.
If you have brought your own horses to Clover Cliff Ranch,
saddle up and give yourself and your stock a good workout by going on a Trail Ride. The complete trail ride will require 3 to 4 hours to
complete.
The Wagon Trail is an excellent
way to experience the vastness and beauty of the Flint Hills. See a little of what it was
like for our forefathers as they traveled west to settle this great country. The complete
wagon trail will require 3 to 4 hours to complete.
